Related content is the key to maximum user engagement. Recommendations is a great way to display related content directly at prime spots within the player and thus further interest in your content. This is true for standard viewing on Mobile or Desktop but is even more relevant for Virtual Reality. Once immersed in VR, users can now switch effortlessly from and to content you suggest without ever taking off the Headset!

Coherent storytelling

Recommendations make it possible to construct complete semantically coherent stories and establish interfaces between contents. Imagine a series of videos being connected via recommendations to link from episode to episode to season. Or from one topic to more videos in the same topic. Recommendations are versatile enough to cater to a large amount of use cases. In true Delight VR fashion, you are in control.

Link to external Delight VR contents

The web is a connected place, yet in VR the connectedness is still in its infancy. With external content links we want to change this. We now allow you to build cross references to other sites that embed Delight VR. This way you could connect your existing sites and web pages that use Delight VR or link out to any affiliate’s site using Delight VR. Given an external link, a poster and the autostart flag, users will be redirected transparently between your site and the next while staying in VR if possible.

Of course you can link to any kind of website you like with the external links feature. This way you can redirect your traffic and implement many advanced strategies right into your Virtual Reality experiences built around our Delight VR solutions.
